What is the difference between religion and spirituality?

Religion is "Dharma", or the code of conduct. The high nature by which a living being is bound. Every animal has their own dharma, which defines their predictable behaviour, except humans who can go either way. Being at the top of evolution, has this anomaly.

Spirituality is closeness to the spirit, the only undying, undecaying part of our selves which never fades. Connecting to the spirit has been the challenge of achieving self-realization.

A person who is close to the spirit, i.e. self-realized, has it flowing in his gross being is automatically "dharmic" or religious.
